The Hanover Names Charles Foura Regional Vice President, Commercial Lines, for Kansas and Missouri

WORCESTER, Mass. (July 22, 2010) – The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE: THG), a leading provider of property and casualty insurance, has announced the appointment of Charles Foura as regional vice president, commercial lines, for the company’s Kansas and Missouri markets, effective August 1.

In this role, Foura will help the company’s agent partners to leverage The Hanover’s growing portfolio of commercial lines products, to create new opportunities for the company and its agents to compete and win together in their local markets. Foura will work out of The Hanover’s office in Overland Park, Kansas.

Foura joined The Hanover in 2005 and most recently served as regional vice president, commercial lines, for the company’s Michigan market. Prior to joining The Hanover, he served as regional executive and commercial vice president at Travelers for the company’s upper Midwest region, including Kansas and Missouri. Previously, Foura served as branch vice president at USF&G. His professional accreditations include CPCU, CIC and AIM.
